>> [ bleep ], bull p[ bleep ]. >> that little one is the runt. >> a holiday wonder as a deer wanders around the woods. the heartbreaking rejection and the heroes who saved a scared fawn. and plus, a cool fruit and a cool cake. something new to do at the picnic. and fresh from the usa gal -- ♪ fireworks >> the president's song. it is a new party anthem on one fired up fourth of july. now, this is a crazy celebration. while americans like to light their fireworks, this is how they do it in a village in mexico. did you see that? >> they are smashing stuff with sledge hammers and it is exploding. >> so people have the hammers, but at the end, there are explosives taped on to them. they are doing this to celebrate the patron saint of the town and

they do it every february to celebrate the festival. in the video, you will see them putting the explosives on the end of this pole which will eventually turn into an explosive hammer. these explosives are also homemade. apparently they spend weeks putting these little cartridges together. >> this is fun. i want to do it. >> well, i don't know, because every year there are injuries and most of them superficial. >> good grief. that guy's head almost got blown off. >> wait until you see this next one. >> whoa! my gosh. >> yeah, that sent his hammer flying back. >> and dudes are doing this, but any women doing this? >> no, that ri smart. they are at home. >> we at "right this minute" of course hope that everybody has

an awesome time out on the water for this holiday weekend, but maybe a couple of videos of examples of don't do this. people out on the jet ski enjoying their time. this video is from juke in, and yeah, you saw it. >> [ bleep ], [ bleep ]. >> dude, are you all right? >> yeah, but my knee though. holy [ bleep ]. >> it seems as though someone had lost control here. >> the good thing is that after they run into each other, you can hear them. >> no, no, it hurts. >> sounds like the one guy banged up the knee, but all in all, it sounds like they are okay after this. >> [ bleep ], [ bleep ]. oh! >> that was like a jet ski folly. this video has jet ski super skills. this dude is out there jumping over the wake behind this boat. that is pretty cool, right? but it is really exciting for this particular dude here.

>> oh! >> he really loves what he is seeing so much so that -- he falls right in. >> i think there was something in the moon sauce that he was drinking. >> well, the dude loved it so much that he lost a little control and fell right into the water. they circle around and the guy is probably all right. you are looking at some of the aftermath from the black forest fire in colorado. 500 structures were destroyed and thousands of people had to be evacuate while they were fight i fighting this, but some animals were also victims of this. you can see the doe with the two little fawns in an area that is destroyed. >> cute little things, aren't they. >> but as you can see, there is a little fawn a little bit older than the other two following the doe. the people living in the area started watching them

interacting and taking the video. they believe that fawn had been orphaned. >> that deer lost its mama probably in the fire. >> they noticed that the doe was chasing away the fawn and kicking it whenever it tried to get milk. >> the fawn was dehydrated. >> we will call the wildlife rescue and get help for this little fawn. >> so the sheriff's office came out to help rescue the fawn. look at how patient they are kind of creeping around, because it is skittish and it took off when they got close. you can see the two deputies creeping up on this fawn, so they can eventually scoop it up. . t?ok at this one deputy hold in i can't believe how docile it got once they picked it up. and now the fawn was taken to a rehab facility, because they

want to make sure it is okay, and it will be later released back into the wild. >> apparently she is. >> of course, you are. >> what a great act of kindness. we know this, fireworks can be incredibly dangerous. in this particular video, the poster says they bought one of the 200-gram fireworks cakes and basically a bunch of firecrackers in a bunch. >> yes, and so this guy is putting the fire krcracker cake next to this area before he lights it. and then the fireworks start to go off. but keep watching. >> oh. oh. oh! >> oh, no! >> the post over the video said that he did not secure the

firework cake effectively so that the fireworks were shooting out at the guy behind the camera. >> you know if you watched the very first firework the cake kind of wobbles a little bit. you can tell that it is not super secure. >> luckily nobody is injured and the guy behind the camera is laugh laughing. they call it a near death experience, but be careful when you are light iing the firework. >> whew! >> looking for something new to grill up this holiday? >> are they raw? >> they are raw and ready. >> and i imagine crunchy. crunchy like popcorn. >> see theta tasty twist to thi backyard barbeque. >> and the mighty chipmunk who is not afraid of anything. >> oh, my gosh!

>> but with the bugs, it is not the taste, but the texture like the legs and wings that are the bad thing. >> so if you have extra people, catch some cicadas and grill them up. fireworks can be fun if you are safe about it. jeremiah is having fun to view fireworks in a different way. this has the matrix bullet effect to it. >> yeah, the 360 thing. >> he is shooting little rockets and the pack of missile-type things, and a bottle rocket here. each one of of the shots are in slow motion, and it kind of wraps around him in a 360 degree motion. with the smoke, this is fun to watch. >> and how did he do it? >> yeah, because it looks like the fireworks are shot right at the camera. but he put together a how-to video and shows you how to do it yourself. >> it was simple in that it was

the crazy russian hacker is back with a really cool video. >> welcome back to my laboratory. >> but if you will notice right behind him, today, the experiment is food-related. >> today, i am going to show you how to make homemade ice cream, very simple. >> easy peasy. >> and if you like some toppings on the ice cream, measurement cups, table spoon, ice, couple of zip lock bags and more measurement cups. and gloves. >> you will need them. >> you take the milk and the half and half and sugar in it, and put it in a baggy and try to squeeze as much of the air out as you can, and the cool part. >> you grab another zip lock bag and put the ice in it, and then put a bunch of salt in there.

then put this mixture in there. >> that is when you need the dirty gloves, because that is when you will have it cold. >> you put the other bag into the other bag. >> and then you -- >> shake it! >> for five or ten minute, and it is frozen and ready to eat. you know exactly what is going into the ice cream. >> very important. >> and of course, it wouldn't be "right this minute" if we didn't try making our own ice cream. >> one cup of milk. >> one cup of half and half, and since more milk, i'm adding more sugar. >> don't forget to add the vanilla extract. >> more. more. shake it up a little bit. >> ooh, you can feel it getting much colder. >> and the vanilla. >> really shaking. yeah. that's pretty good. i think that we are good. >> nice job. >> that is fantastic. >> i have some chocolate. >> all right. >> it is great. >> delicious.

>> the cameraman from wmbs in myrtle beach, south carolina, showed up at a pelican ranch where the cheerleading team was having a little contest to see who could throw in the first beach. they had rigged the contest so that one specific girl could throw in the pitch. in the catcher's uniform is staff sergeant richard palmer. who is also -- >> hey, what's up, baby? >> daddy! >> oh. >> when in myrtle beach, he is a civilian, he is also a firefighter, and so he teamed up with the firefighters and the myrtle beach pelicans to pull off this very special welcome home surprise, and the folks at wmbs talked to the father and the daughter. >> when we got on the bus last night at 7:30, and 14-hour drive to get here. >> she thought that he was still

full-sized tram e poe lean right down there by the water. >> yes. >> and it does look fun. these guys have some skills, and they are not like the everyday average joes, because they are pulling some crazy stunts here. at one point they kind of ditch the trampoline and go straight cliff diving. really good shots though from across the way. you can see how high up they are. that looks to be about, i don't know, 50 feet? pretty, e prpretty high. not the safest thing, although it looks like super fun. it doesn't look that dangerous, and they are not that high up with the trampoline and looks like perfect summer fun, especially in arizona where you don't find water like that everywhere. there is nothing more delicious during a hot summer day than a delicious sweet watermelon. >> yes! >> and i have a couple of videos. the first one i'm going the show you how to bust into your watermelon not using a knife or cutting board.

these guys are using rubberband after rubberband after rubberband. >> that is not going the work. >> at this point, they have a ton of rubberbands on there all right, and then they have more. and as they keep going, it totally works, but it blew up the water melon. >> wow. i can't belief that. >> the pressure from all of the rubberbands works, and it was almost a perfect cut. >> you can still salvage that one part. >> and this is a cool video, because i have never seen anything like it, but maybe some people have. but it is a fresh watermelon cake. i don't mean cake batter that tastes like watermelon, because the guys at the woodland bakery blog. you literally cut a watermelon in half. >> that is the cake there? >> the water melon is going to be the edge of the cake. >> you should choose a watermelon that is seedless. >> once you cut it. you put whipped cream over it and draw a pattern and cover the
